Coach Keith (owner)

 

Coach Keith has always been compelled by improvement through competition.  Keith was a skilled football player and was fortunate enough to grow up in a highly competitive community.  Supportive family and coaches pushed him to earn All-State Ohio honors and compete at his highest level as a Division I collegiate athlete.  Keith competed as a 4 year starter at Ohio University playing Defensive Line and was ranked as 51st in the nation among draft eligible defensive lineman his senior year.

As an undersized lineman Keith found success concentrating on technique and speed.  Football’s demands geared him towards a training mentality of bigger, faster, stronger.  WIth more than 15 years of consistant practice in aggressive training styles and learning from Division I strength and conditioning coaches, Keith's knowledge of he demands placed on athletes from the highly competative colligiate level to highschool athletes to the weekend warrior is well rounded.

 

Keith found CrossFit in August 2009.  Keith’s personal definition of fitness was revolutionized.  CrossFit training changed Keith's view of training from bigger, faster, stronger into fitter, faster, stronger.  "The knowledge the CrossFit community made into an open source format far exceeds the applied knowledge conveyed by the training systems I was exposed to prior to CrossFit".



The outstanding effects Keith experienced led him to focus on the reasons behind CrossFit being such an effective training style.  Keith’s decision to become a coach and owner was based on his strong belief that CrossFit is the best training methodology available.  In addition, Keith is driven by the community that CrossFit provides as well as his personal interest in helping others.  This drive focuses Keith on providing superior instruction for his athletes at Iron Bridge CrossFit.

Coach Keith
Coach Beth (owner) 

​

An activist in sports and exercise, Coach Beth discovered CrossFit in June 2009.  Previously, she participated in bootcamps, weights and a continuous year of P90X, never feeling challenged.  Missing the competitive components of softball and soccer, she has now met her match in CrossFit.

Beth received her Level 1 certification one year after following CrossFit workouts on her own and eventually joining a CrossFit gym.  Beth went on to get her CrossFit Gymnastics Certification as well.  She loves the intensity and variety that encompass CrossFit but believes nothing beats the camaraderie and spirit of community. 



Beth Appreciates the challenge that CrossFit offers.  As her efficiency in the movements improves, she is able to continue revving up the intensity as well as strength.  The benefit of CrossFit is that you continue to measurably improve, both physically and mentally. 



 

Beth's mission is to encourage other athletes to achieve their fitness goals, thereby improving their lives using CrossFit's methodology.  Her passion, not only for fitness but in nutrition as well, mirrors her career as a Registered Nurse.  Beth's goals include more involvement in competitions, community outreach with fellow CrossFitters and making Iron Bridge CrossFit a sweet place to be.  Beth is a solid motivator, loves what she does; her enthusiasm is contagious!

CoachAndrea

Coach Andrea

 

Andrea has always lived an active life, in high school her main passion was softball.  She went to college and decided to take a break from sports.  Since then, Andrea decided she was going to get back in shape by trying her hand at endurance events such as triathlons, distance running, and swimming.  She completed many sprint and Olympic distance triathlons, and even a half Ironman.  She has also run a half dozen half marathons, and a full marathon.  From there, she ventured into other events such as the Tough Mudder, the Spartan Beast, the USMC Mud Run, and the GoRuck Challenge.   None of these events were really the right fit for Andrea. Andrea started doing CrossFit to supplement her strength for her endurance events but realized that CrossFit was something she truly enjoyed.

 

Andrea earned her Level 1 certificate in March of 2013 and becoming a CrossFit coach is a great fit for her as she truly enjoys helping people reach their fitness goals.

Coach Daniela
 



Daniela grew up as a competitive year round swimmer for over 20 years and continues to participate in all open water races. She began participating in triathlons and started working out at home with "Tony" P90X and Insanity. The workouts became less challenging and monotonous. She was then introduced to Crossfit in 2010 and has never looked back. 

Daniela has always had a competitive drive within herself and a " never give up" attitude. She loves the support, camaraderie and sense of family she finds with CrossFit.
 

Daniela completed her Level one certification in 2012. outside of CrossFit she can be found paddle boarding, running, swimming and donating her time to animal rescue. She enjoys helping people through home health physical therapy in maximizing their physical abilities to achieve their goals. 

Daniela sees the importance of strength and fitness on a daily basis. She finished her first Goruck challenge in 2013 and is currently planning her next! Her compassion, motivation and enthusiasm allows her to share in the success of others while completing whatever challenge lies ahead!
