Friday Night Lights are Back!


Friday Night Lights returns to Iron Bridge Crossfit this Friday, February 26th!

The Rundown....

4:45 - 5:00pm: Athlete/Spectator/Judge

Athletes, please know the WOD in advance and be sure to come prepared with any additional equipment you made need (i.e. knee sleeves, tape, lifting shoes, jump ropes, etc.) Spectators - IBCF will provide adult beverages (while supplies last) and you are welcome to BYOB, bring a friend, snacks, noise maker and anything else that will help your cheering efforts!

If you are willing to volunteer as a judge, please arrive early so coaches may provide judging sheets and necessary information prior to beginning heats. THANK YOU for your help!

5:00 - 5:15: Athlete Warm up

Athletes will warm up individually. Coaches will have a "suggested" warm up written on the white board based on the Open WOD for that week. Please plan to arrive early to get warm and mobilize for the best possible WOD score!

5:15 - 5:25(ish): WOD Explanation and Movement Standards

Coaches will bring athletes to the white board to explain the workout for the week. Each movement will be demonstrated as well. Please remember that this is a competition setting, so standards and completing each rep as demonstrated is a must!

5:25 - 5:30: Assigment of Heats and Judges

Athletes will be placed in heats at random. If you have a request, please try to let Megan know before Friday night (megan@ironbridgecrossfit.com or FB message).

The gym will remain open for up to an hour after the final heat for socializing, recovery, and fun! The Open is all about being a part of not only your local Crossfit community, but the greater Crossfit community too! It's not too late to sign up and test your personal limits as well as experience Crossfit HQ programming along with the rest of the world! Register for the Open at games.crossfit.com and let's do this!
