Iron Warriors Crossfit Kids Summer Camps at Iron Bridge Crossfit!

Iron Bridge Crossfit is hosting Iron Warriors Crossfit Kids Summer Camps for kiddos ages 5 - 11!

Camp Dates:

June 13 - June 17th

July 25 - July 29th

*Camp is from 7:45 am - 11:45 am each day. Check in each morning begins at 7:30 am.

Cost:

$250/kiddo

*Includes an exclusive Iron Warriors t-shirt!

Camp Details!

Each day will include new movement skills such as squats, pull ups, box jumps, handstands, etc.; two "mini WODs" (workouts of the day), and lots, and lots, and LOTS of GAMES!!! Snack will be provided by IBCF, so all your kiddo needs is to wear comfy clothing they can run, jump, roll and play in plus tennis shoes; a water bottle; towel (water balloons will be involved!); and LOTS of energy!

So, what IS Crossfit Kids and the Iron Warriors Crossfit Kids Program?

At Iron Bridge Crossfit, we believe Crossfit makes people better (i.e. health, wellness, weight loss/gain, strength gains, competitive: with yourself and others),

But our Iron Warriors Crossfit Kids Program makes better people by empowering kids, creating a lifelong positive definition of fitness, addressing health risks/concerns, and building a community!

What does that mean to you and your kiddo? BIG fun for all ages!! “Broad-Inclusive-General FUN! We will run, jump, swing, roll, flip, hang, squat and everything in between! Kiddos practice quality, functional movement patterns in mini workouts and PLAY! Yes, PLAY!!! Every class inlcudes free time to be a kid and games! Our program is scalable for any age or experience level allowing ALL kiddos who participate to do so building on where they are at that moment.

So, what should you and your kiddos expect?

  • FUN!!!

  • learning how to move WELL

  • repetition

  • movement lessons - squat, deadlift, press

  • practice in the 10 General Physical Skills (agility, accuracy, balance, coordination, endurance, flexibility, power, speed, strength, stamina)

  • introduction to nutrition - what is protein? carbohydrate? fat?

  • short WODs (workout of the day)

  • GAMES!!!!!! SO many Games!!!!

PS. We’re NOT about this...

  • adult barbells, weights, loaded movements

  • exercise related punishment/discipline

  • inappropriate, loud music

  • competition, scoring or being “out,”

  • workout recording/journaling

  • long, grueling WODs

  • your child walking around shirtless or in a sports bra
